Packrafting the South Fork of the Salmon.

Four dudes, three days, 1.8' of water.

That's roughly what you need -- or at least what we had -- to run the South Fork of the Salmon.

Squeegeeing down the river is a great way to see it for the first time.  I hope to get to see it with more.

Late summer flows are friendly, lazy, and fun.  You can find trouble if you want it but mostly you get to enjoy a gorgeous canyon, with some paradoxical Idaho "Wilderness" -- with little stress.

How little?  So little you might opt to zip open your bow bag and make a burrito in any given eddy.

Thanks to Jim, Todd, and Brian for rallying and making it such an enjoyable few days.

Thanks for checkin' in.
